about the programme
Following the end of WWII, it was decided that this would be an ‘interim season’, as the country came to terms with the return of peacetime. It was the same for the programme, which continued as it was during the war. The smaller ‘bijou’ design continued, with all programmes issued in an 8-page format, with the exception of the games against Walthamstow Avenue (see below) and Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic. The cover price was 2d.
