1955/56 Division 3 (South)
about the programme
The big change for this season was the introduction of a predominantly blue colour for the first time. The programme retains the 12-page format, although 4 games (Walsall, Ipswich Town, Gillingham & Leyton Orient) were only worthy of 4 pages. The cover has match info and the Crosse & Blackwell advert, under the club name and is perhaps the first time the club used a ‘corporate identity’ on the programme. This basic design was to be used (with some tweaks) for over a decade. 25 league & cup programmes were issued, as well as a 4-pager for the friendly against Derby County in January 1956
