about the programme
Another 8-pager for each of the 21 league games, plus the FA Cup tie against Derby County. For the visit of Burnley in the 4th round, the club issued a 12-page ‘souvenir programme’, although everything stayed the same apart from the extra pages dedicated to our opponents, who were the reigning league champions. For the League Cup game against Wrexham in November 1960, we issued a single sheet, folded to make a 4-page programme. It was our first ever home fixture in this new competition and as such, it is a valuable item to collectors. The friendly against Frem was another yellow-covered issue, while the friendly against Wormatia Worms used the standard league format.
