about the programme
A big change for the programme this season, with a move to a pocked-sized, 16-page issue, a format that was to remain for 5 seasons. Twenty-three programmes were issued, with the FA Cup tie against Blackburn Rovers in January 1962 the only addition. A programme was issued for the postponed fixture against Charlton Athletic on 20 January 1962, but very few of these survive. Programmes were issued for a number of friendlies and one of these (the game for Jo Wilson’s testimonial) was printed with a red cover.
