about the programme
Another season in Division Three for Albion and it was ‘as you were’ for the programme as well. Photos of local landmarks were replaced by match action on the cover but inside, the format remained the same. The Football League Review was again included, stapled into the programme, making it a very readable 32 pages. The 23 league issues were joined by 2 for the League Cup and 2 for FA Cup fixtures against Kidderminster Harriers and Northampton Town. One slight oddity was that because of a short supply of the Football League Review magazine for the game against Torquay United in August 1968, a ‘temporary’ 4-page programme was issued. It’s pretty rare!
