about the nationwide review

Whilst not directly linked to ‘Football League Review’ and ‘League Football’ from the late 60s and early 70s, it was an attempt by the Football League (then sponsored by Nationwide Building Society) to have a generic league magazine included within programmes. The first issue came out at the beginning of March 1997 and it ran until the end of the 1997/98 season. 97/98 saw 9 issues and 97/98, a full season of 25 issues.
