£35.00

Programmes have been a part of the game of football for over 150 years. From 19th century match cards, to the lavish 100-page productions we see today, the programme has been an essential part of the matchday ritual for millions of fans.

This book charts the development of Albion’s programme, from humble beginnings at the start of the 20th century, right up to the 2025/26 season. With nearly 400 pages and over 1,650 illustrations, this hardback book takes you on a fascinating journey through the history of a football club that has seen countless ups and downs in its 125-year history.

Author Ian Hine has been a Brighton & Hove Albion all his life and began his programme collection on the day he saw his first Albion game in August 1968. Nearly 15 years in the planning, this book is the culmination of a project that includes the seagullsprogrammes website. He is also a regular contributor to the Brighton matchday programme.
